You Have More Political Power Than You Think.

September 11, 2026 at 9:11 AM

And most of it is closer to home than Washington.

Written by Gregory Tammany

From Jupiter to Boca, ConservativeRepublicNews.com is the go-to spot for conservatives in Palm Beach County. It covers what’s happening, who’s running, where to go, and when to show up.

One county. One place to find the candidates, clubs, meetings, elections, deadlines, and events that shape the place we call home.

Palm Beach County is decided by the People Who Show Up and Vote

We know who’s running for president. We know what happened in Washington this morning.

But ask most of us to answer simple questions we struggle. Like, when is the next school board meeting? Who represents us on the county commission? Is there a municipal election next month? Suddenly, the room falls silent.

That’s not because people don’t care. It’s because local politics is unnecessarily hard to follow.

Palm Beach County has many municipalities and off-cycle elections. It has nonpartisan races. It also includes special districts, club meetings, candidate forums, and public hearings. Registration deadlines are on many websites. Government agendas are all over the place.

The information exists. Finding it in time to actually do something is the problem.

That’s the problem Conservative Republic News exists to solve.

Not by telling you what to think. Make sure you know what’s happening, why it matters, and where to be before someone makes the decision for you.

Everything You Need to Get Involved—In One Place

The Event Calendar

Club meetings. Candidate forums. Rallies. Town halls. Canvassing launches. Watch parties. Government meetings.

Find what’s happening across Palm Beach County, sorted by date and location.

Instead of hearing about it the next morning, you’ll know about it while there’s still time to show up.

The Club Directory

Republican clubs. Federated Republican Women. Young Republicans. Precinct organizations. Liberty and patriot groups. Veterans’ organizations. Who they are. Where they meet. When they meet. How to reach them.

If you’ve ever said, “I’d get involved if I knew where to start,” then start here.

The Candidate Directory

From school board and city commission to the State House and beyond. We set up a space for candidates to share their info with voters. Voters can visit candidate websites to learn more. They might even hear directly from the candidates.

The goal is simple: Give voters the information. Let voters make the decision.

The Voter Toolkit

Registration. Party affiliation. Vote-by-mail. Early voting. Sample ballots. Precinct information. Election dates. Deadlines.

No need to search six government websites for what you need. Get the information in plain English, right when you need it.

Meeting Watch

County commission. School board. Municipal government.

Know when they’re meeting and what they’re voting on before the vote happens. Finding out afterward is called old news. Finding out beforehand is called citizenship.

Stop Watching Politics. Start Affecting It.

National politics gets almost all the attention.

But your greatest opportunity to make a difference is much closer to home.

A presidential campaign has millions of voters. It includes large organizations, national media, and a lot of money. All these compete for attention.

A local election can hinge on a small group of neighbors who choose to pay attention and cast their votes.

Think about what those local offices influence:

  • Your property taxes.
  • The development going up down the street.
  • Your roads.
  • Your neighborhood.
  • Your schools.
  • Your local budget.
  • Your quality of life.

These aren’t the minor leagues of government.

This is government where you live.

And the smaller the electorate, the more meaningful participation can become. You may never personally change what happens in Washington. But you can walk into a school board meeting. You can meet a city commissioner. You can question a candidate. You can join a local club. You can bring ten neighbors to a meeting.

You can vote in an election most people forgot was happening. You have more political power than you think.

You have to know where to use it.

Come for the Info. Leave Knowing What to Do Next.

A calendar alone won’t build a community.

So Conservative Republic News is also a place to watch, listen, and read.

Coming soon. Local Information Worth Your Time.

Palm Beach County podcasts. Candidate conversations. Video from forums and public meetings. Interviews with the people shaping the county. Commentary from local voices. Palm Beach County has great personalities. It’s full of stories and fun moments that make it feel like home.

But there’s one rule behind all of it:

We believe Content should lead somewhere.

An interview with a candidate should lead to that candidate’s page. A discussion about a school board issue should lead to the next meeting. A story about a local fight should help you find the people already working on it. A podcast shouldn’t leave you angry at your steering wheel with nowhere to go. It should leave you knowing what you can do next.

Come for the Information. Leave knowing where to be on Thursday.

That’s the design.

Know Where to Be. Know Why You’re There.

Political participation without principles eventually becomes just another team sport.

Along with news, candidates, events, and meetings, you’ll find something even harder to find online:

The source material.

The Declaration of Independence. The United States Constitution. The Bill of Rights. The Federalist Papers. The Anti-Federalist Papers. The Florida Constitution.

Complete. Searchable. Free.

No paywall. No commentator standing between you and the words. Read them yourself.

You’ll find essays and commentary on natural rights, federalism, and limited government. They discuss the rule of law and what these principles mean outside Washington. For example, consider a county commission meeting just five miles from your home.

Opinion will be clearly identified as opinion. Information will be presented as information. We want informed conservatives, not instructed ones.

Because knowing where to show up gets you through the door. Knowing why you’re there keeps you involved long after one election ends.

The Election You Never Heard About May Be the One Where Your Vote Matters Most

There is a strange contradiction in American politics.

We tend to focus on elections where one vote matters least. Local races often receive less attention. But they directly affect daily life.

School boards. City commissions. Municipal elections. Special districts. Primaries. Local ballot questions.

These elections don’t always come with presidential debates, lots of TV ads, or national news coverage.

Sometimes they arrive quietly. And quietly disappear. That’s why dates matter. Deadlines matter. Party registration matters. Knowing a primary is coming matters. Knowing what will be discussed at Thursday’s meeting before Thursday matters.

Missing an election because you chose not to take part is one thing.

Missing it because nobody told you it was happening is something we can fix.

We share all key deadlines here as soon as we can. We use clear language, so they're easy to find.

How We Operate

Our job is simple, and so are the rules.

We honor our names. Contributors sign their work. Real people. Real accountability.

We get the details right. A wrong date or address is more than a typo. It sends a neighbor to a locked door. Verify information against its sources. If we make a mistake, we fix it.

We separate information from opinion. Strong opinions are welcome. Argument and commentary will come elsewhere.

The information will also be clearly labeled.

We don’t choose for you. We help voters find candidates, organizations, events, and information. We do not substitute your judgment.

We’re an information hub, not a hall monitor. This is where you find the information and where you need to be.

A Movement Should Be Able to Find Itself on a Tuesday Night.

Palm Beach County has many people who truly care about their communities and country. The problem is that too many of them are disconnected from one another.

A club is meeting in Boca. A candidate is speaking in Jupiter. The school board posts the agenda. A group is organizing in Wellington. A municipal election is approaching. A volunteer needs help. A voter wants to get involved. And too often, none of them can find each other.

A movement that can’t find itself on a Tuesday night isn’t much of a movement.

So let’s fix that. One calendar. One directory. One place to start.

Palm Beach County First. Florida First. America First.

These aren’t competing loyalties. They’re concentric ones. America is shaped by more than just Washington.

It forms where citizens can walk into a room. They can look their representatives in the eye. They can persuade their neighbors and hold public officials accountable. They can speak, organize, and vote.

The county commission. The city council. The school board. The party meeting. The neighborhood association. The polling place.

Government closest to home is significant because it’s local. It matters precisely because it’s local.

Get Palm Beach County right and you strengthen Florida. Strengthen Florida and you strengthen America. It starts where you live.

Bring Back the Informed Citizen.

Bring back the person who knows who represents him. Bring back the neighbor who shows up before the vote instead of complaining after it. Bring back the candidate who runs to fix something and remembers who sent her there. Bring back the independent-minded voter. This voter reads, listens, argues, and makes their own decisions. They refuse to outsource their judgment to others. Bring back the Republican who believes public service means service. Bring back the Democrat who may not agree with us but still thinks this country is worth defending. Bring back the American who can disagree with a neighbor at 7:00 and shake their hand at 8:30.

Bring back We the People—not as words printed on merchandise, but as a job description.

Because self-government has one need no constitution can supply:

Citizens willing to stand up and fight for it.

Your County Needs You More Than Your News Feed Does.

You don’t need to become a political operative. You don’t need ten thousand followers. You don’t need to spend every night at a meeting.

Start smaller.

Check your registration. Make sure your address, party affiliation, and precinct information are correct.

Find one event and go. A club meeting. A candidate forum. A school board meeting. A town hall. One evening can change how you understand your county.

Find out who represents you. Learn their names before you need something from them.

Add your organization. If you run a club, group, or organization, make sure the people looking for you can actually find you.

Post your events. Don’t make your neighbors discover Wednesday morning what happened Tuesday night.

Bring a few people with you. A spouse. A friend. A neighbor.

Everything becomes more powerful when multiplied by two, or three.

Don't Just Follow Politics. Show Up & Vote!

Your county's leaders govern it whether you’re paying attention or not.

Your school board will meet. Your city will vote. Candidates will run. Deadlines will pass. Budgets will be approved. Decisions will be made.

The only question is whether the people who care will know about them in time to take part.

That’s why we’re here.

One county. One movement. One place for every conservative voice in Palm Beach.
